I can't believe how time flies when you have a baby in your life. Lukas just turned 1, can't believe it. His birthday party was awesome. Needless to say his party was full of our family and friends. Yes, HE was the ONLY baby there and most likely he won't remember it, but I had a blast planning and executing all my plans. I have to say, I did a pretty good job at it. My brag moment...the cake. Yes, I did make it from scratch as well as the mini cakes, the cupcakes, the white chocolate duck shaped candies. It was awesome. Rubber Duckies all over the place. I might have gone a little overboard, but it was well worth it. Wish you all could have been there. I'd like to express a huge thanks to Emi and Meg, Brooke, and of course my wonderful husband who was very very helpful and very agreeable in all my insanity during that weekend.
